One of the goals of Focus Autism is to Advocate for improved support for families through the healthcare and legal systems. We believe that by addressing issues that we feel are controversial and others that have been overlooked, we are able to have a voice for many that are silent.

With his voice, Barry aims to address some of the questions that are being avoided and strive for some answers that can slow down the exponential growth of autism.

Is it right to authorize the CDC to spend 50 million on a H1N1 vaccine and you have not increased your budget for vaccine safety for years, even with all the increased vaccinations you have mandated?

It's kind of basic what is happening, the vaccinations have altered the parents' immune systems and now a certain subset of their children (when certain factors are in place) can have serious regressions that are avoidable if we had a program calling for better spacing and more safety.

The problems are growing exponentially, and the CDC still allows thimerosal to be used in this country, while our peers have stopped its use. The problem is more than thimerosal.

Thank you for all your birthday wishes, I appreciate it. A couple of you have asked to continue my postings, so here it goes. Tall, good looking, powerful, wealthy men have a way of attracting women, i.e. JFK, Bill Clinton, Dave Letterman, etc. Luckily, I was only 5'11" and have shrunken to 5'9".

Bernie Marcus was one of the founders of Home Depot. At the time, Home Depot must have had over 10,000 employees. One of the girls in his office, evidently had an autistic child and Bernie formed the Marcus Autism Center to treat autistic children - a little extreme, but a noble & worthwhile gesture.

For some unknown reason (at least unknown to me), he heard that Bob Wright had an autistic grandson & convinced Bob to form Autism Speaks. He funded it with 5 million/year for the first 5 years. But Bernie (who has close friends at the CDC) won't let them go after vaccines. Autism Speaks has become the number one advocacy group in the country & the media quotes them. Four people in the field have said that vaccines are between 40-85% of the contibuting evnvironmental causes.

The longer Big Pharma keeps the CDC away from meaningful vaccine research, the more children will be needlessly damaged. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) knows that a small subset of children is vulnerable to vaccinations - Paul Offit included.

The CDC will come out with new autism rates soon. Now, it will probably be in the area 1 in 90 - before, it was 1 in 110. Dolly & I have had dinner with Bernie Marcus. Bernie has formed 20-25 foundations but is absolutely clueless on the effect of vaccinations. He has to understand the problem & reverse his stance immediately. If not, he should stick to building aquariums.

This is a perfect example of what big pharma has done to the country.

A child is born and on its frist day they tell the child "we have to give you a Hepatitis B shot. It's liable to screw up your immune system, but you see the babies over there? One of them may need the shot, but instead of taking the time to find out which one, we're just going to give all of you the shot."

In France, Italy, Germany, Denmark, England, Sweden, Japan, Netherlands, Norway and Ireland they only give the shot to the children of a Hepatitis B positive mothers. How we let ourselves get into this situation is beyond belief!

It is like MacDonalds promoting and selling diet pills!

Kevin Barry: I agree Barry! 100 years from not, people will look back at the Hep B birth dose as the height of stupidity as we now look back on medicine in the 1850s and ask, surgeons REALLY didn't wash their hands?
